Self-Reflection

This module was conducted online and we as students met obstacles all the time. Our tutor guided us to complete this module. In this module, I learnt the ancient peoples' technique of constructions, why those constructions were needed, how the constructions benefited modern peoples and the features a building should have. Every time the online classes ended, our teacher would give us homework and extra materials on Facebook that could act as a guideline and lead us towards accomplishment of the tasks. Besides, we worked out our personal notes. I think learning by this way is the most efficient because every single one of us has our own talent and adapt different ways of learning for such circumstances of online learning. From this module, we are able to learn some history of other country and understand the world around us. This indeed should have make the learning programme more interesting.

In Project 1, we are required to choose 5 buildings out of 18. I have chosen The Stone Henge, Piramids of Giza, The Colosseum, Villa La Rotonda and Altes Museum. I learnt how to construct the buildings, their history, ancient peoples' aim of construction and what benefits did they get.

In Project 2 , I am one of the members from Group 12: Menara Dewan Bahasa, Stadium Merdeka. I learnt the difference of this two buildings in the aspects of materials, features and style of the two different constructors. Most importantly, I learnt the importance of worked together as a team to finish the task given.
